"Praised be Thou, my Lord"

Excerpts from the interview of Sister Lucia of Fatima by Father Fuentes, 1957

“… the Most Holy Virgin is very sad because no one pays attention to her Message, neither the good nor the bad.”

“… he [the Devil] is trying to win over the souls consecrated to God. In this way, he also leaves the field of souls abandoned and will more easily take possession of them.”

“My mission is to point out to everyone the imminent danger we are in of losing our souls forever if we continue clinging to sin.”

“… let each one of us begin his own spiritual reform, for each one must save not only his own soul, but also all the souls whom God has placed in his path.”

“… the Most Holy Virgin did not tell me that we are living in the last times of the world, but she made me understand it…”

“… she told both my cousins and me that the last two remedies God gives to the world are the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary…”

“He presents to us, with a certain fear, the final means of salvation: His Most Holy Mother.”

“We have clear testimony to this in the history of many centuries of the Church, which, through terrible examples, shows us how Our Lord has always come to the defense of the honor of His Most Holy Mother.”

“There are two means of saving the world: prayer and sacrifice.”

“Look, Father, in these last times in which we are living, the Most Holy Virgin has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Holy Rosary. In such a way that now there is no problem, no matter how difficult it may be, whether temporal or, above all, spiritual, concerning the personal life of each one of us; or the life of our families, whether families in the world or Religious Communities; or the life of peoples and nations, there is no problem, I repeat, however difficult it may be, that we cannot now resolve through the recitation of the Holy Rosary.”

“Through the Holy Rosary we will save ourselves, we will sanctify ourselves, we will console Our Lord, and we will obtain the salvation of many souls.”

“And then, devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Most Holy Mother, presenting her to us as the seat of mercy, goodness, and forgiveness, and as the sure gateway through which to enter Heaven.”
