Papal Bull of Pope Honorius III on the Rule of the Friars Minor.

Honorius, Bishop, Servant of the Servants of God,

To Our beloved sons, Brother Francis and the other Brothers of the Order of Friars Minor, greetings and Apostolic Blessing.

The Apostolic See is accustomed to consenting to pious undertakings and fostering the praiseworthy desires of those who entreat it.

Therefore, Our most beloved sons in the Lord, being willing to grant your holy requests, We confirm by Apostolic Authority, and by this present document We approve, the Rule of your Order approved by Pope Innocent, of blessed memory, Our predecessor, and set forth here in the following terms:
